These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of ReefRaf at reefraf.com (the “Service”), operated by Itay Rose ari, a sole proprietor (osek) registered in Israel (“ReefRaf”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Contact for anything in these Terms: support@reefraf.com.
1. What ReefRaf is
ReefRaf is a curated, searchable library of complete creative video references (films, advertisements, music videos, and related work), described and organized with editorial analysis for creative professionals. ReefRaf does not host video files: reference videos are embedded from or linked to their original public sources, such as YouTube and Vimeo.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- Sign-in is via Google only. You are responsible for the security of your Google account and for all activity under your ReefRaf account.
- You must provide accurate information and use the Service only for lawful, professional purposes.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share one account across multiple people, and do not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free searches.
3. Free plan
Free accounts receive six lifetime search sessions. A search session begins with a new search intent and covers filter changes, pagination, sorting, and refinements of that same intent; it ends when you start a new search or after 30 minutes of inactivity.
The free quota is tied to your Google account. Deleting your account and re-registering does not reset the quota. A pseudonymous record of your used search count is retained for this purpose, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Memberships and billing
- Paid membership costs US$20 per month or US$168 per year, plus any applicable taxes. Paid membership includes unlimited ordinary-use search, collection creation and editing, and collection sharing.
- Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record: Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record, processes your payment, and handles applicable taxes and invoicing, under its own terms. We never receive your payment credentials.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; until then you keep full paid access.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes apply from your next renewal; if you do not agree, cancel before the renewal.
5. Refunds
If you are unhappy with your first purchase, contact support@reefraf.com within 14 days of that purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. This money-back guarantee applies once per customer, to the first purchase only. Refunds are executed by Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have under the law of your country of residence, including EU/UK consumer withdrawal rights.
6. What happens when a membership ends
When your paid period ends without renewal:
- Your account becomes a free account.
- Your existing collections and any enabled share links remain readable, but you cannot create, edit, reorder, or rename collections.
- You can still disable sharing, delete collections, export your collections’ reference links, or delete your account.
- Resubscribing restores full editing immediately, with no data loss.
7. Collections and share links
- Paid members can organize published references into collections and share a collection via an unlisted, read-only link. Anyone with the link can view that collection without an account.
- Share links are not listed or indexed inside ReefRaf, and shared pages ask search engines not to index them. However, a link you send can be forwarded by anyone who receives it. Treat share links accordingly.
- You can disable sharing or regenerate a collection’s link at any time; old links stop working.
- We may disable a share link or collection that is used abusively or unlawfully.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-export, or systematically extract the library, its metadata, or its editorial analysis, whether manually or by automated means;
- Use robots, scripts, or other automated tools to access the Service, or circumvent rate limits, search quotas, or access controls;
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties, or use one membership to serve an entire team or organization without our written agreement;
- Reverse engineer the Service or attempt to extract its underlying data, embeddings, or taxonomy;
- Download, rip, or capture embedded videos, or use ReefRaf to violate the terms of YouTube, Vimeo, or any other source platform;
- Interfere with the Service’s operation or security, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Paid membership has no ordinary-use quota, but automated extraction or abusive traffic may be rate-limited, suspended, or terminated. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms; where reasonable, we will warn you first.
9. Intellectual property
- Our content. The Service, including its editorial analysis, descriptions, taxonomy, curation, software, and design, is owned by the Operator or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it within the Service for your professional reference purposes. No other rights are granted.
- Third-party videos.The videos referenced in the library belong to their respective rights holders. ReefRaf embeds or links to them from their original public sources and claims no ownership of them. Your viewing of an embedded video is governed by the source platform’s terms; for YouTube embeds, the YouTube Terms of Service.
- ReefRaf is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the creators, brands, or platforms whose public work appears in the library.
10. Copyright complaints
If you are a rights holder and believe a reference in ReefRaf infringes your rights, including where you do not want your publicly available work included or embedded, email support@reefraf.com with the reference URL and a description of your claim. We review complaints promptly and will remove or un-embed material where appropriate.
11. AI-assisted content
Editorial analysis and tags in ReefRaf are produced with the assistance of AI models and reviewed by a human editor before publication. Despite review, descriptions may contain inaccuracies about a work’s facts, credits, or context. The Service is a creative-reference tool; nothing in it is professional, legal, or clearance advice. Verify rights, credits, and facts independently before relying on them in your own work.
12. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. References depend on their original sources: a video that becomes unavailable at its source may stop playing or be removed from the library. We may add, change, or remove features; if a change materially reduces what a paid membership includes, we will notify you, and you may cancel.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that search results will be complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular project.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill;
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or US$20 if you paid nothing).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Account page; deletion cancels any active subscription and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 9, 13, 14, and 17) survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and, if you have a membership, cancel it.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service. If you are a consumer in the EU/UK, you retain any right to bring proceedings in, and enjoy mandatory protections of, your country of residence.
